Marketing Director, Mastercard
With over 17 years of experience in advertising, marketing and business partnerships, Diana joined the Mastercard team in 2011 as a consultant. Over the next few years, she contributed alongside the marketing team in defining the local brand strategy, developing national and regional campaigns, and localizing Mastercard’s global properties and experiences. From 2011-2013, Diana was part of the task force that promoted the adoption of contactless payments in Romania, following the same approach for the e-commerce area from 2014-2017.
Subsequently, in 2018-2019, Diana led the redefinition of the Mastercard brand positioning in Romania by selecting the health philanthropy area as a communication driver, and in the following years she focused on building different card payment adoption campaigns as well as the development of the sports platform.
Diana graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in 2006, where she attended the Faculty of International Economic Relations, earning a degree in Economic Diplomacy.
