Eva Maclaine

Special Advisor to CIPR International
Eva is owner and principal of Maclaine Communications and Special Advisor to CIPR International. She focuses on global communications programmes and on strategy development, issues management, stakeholder engagement and corporate responsibility. An expert in managing change and cross-cultural teams, she is an award-winning professional with experience in many industry sectors. She specialises in developing complex PR and communication strategies to promote understanding, engagement and positive behaviours amongst communities of stakeholders.
A multilingual PR professional (French, Polish, Russian, Italian and English), Eva has provided international counsel across various continents to numerous governments and projects have spanned diverse countries including Poland, Samoa and Cyprus. She has a broad, international network and is an accomplished relationship builder.
Eva is an occasional guest lecturer and a contributing author on international communications to An Introduction to Public Relations (Pearson May 2013) and to CIPR’s Platinum (2018), which was published in celebration of the Institute’s 70th anniversary. She was awarded the CIPR Sir Stephen Tallents Medal for exceptional achievement in PR and the PRO PR Globe Award in 2020.
Eva, a CIPR board director until 2021, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a chartered practitioner. In 2021 she was invited to join the European Council of the Global Alliance, the umbrella organisation for all PR institutes worldwide.
