Executive Creative Director, Ketchum

Born on the rock of Gibraltar. Sri Lankan / Malaysian blood. British by design.

Indy Selvarajah is an award-winning Executive Creative Director with 12 years’ experience across a multitude of creative industries.

He started his career as an artist showing work at institutions including The Serpentine Gallery, Tate, Barbican and Whitney Museum of American Art in NY. 

Indy then wrote a TV show for Channel 4, produced by Charlie Brooker, which won a Guardian Top 50 TV Show of the year.

A few years later he moved into Advertising where he wrote and created award-winning work including the Thierry Henry Sky Sports film. It was the most viewed advert in 24hrs in facebook history with 21 million views and the 3rd most watched ad in the world for that week.

More recently Indy has moved into the PR world working at agencies including Weber Shandwick and Edelman Deportivo where he CD’d award winning campaigns for Xbox, HP, HSBC and Unilever. 

His most recent work is the Fathers Day Taken campaign for Dove Men. A Fathers day card that supported children whose (Black) dads have been killed by police brutality in the US.

Along the way he has won at Eurobest, D&AD, Cannes Grand Prix, One Show, PR Week, Clio, Creative Review and has been on the jury for the British Arrows, PR Week, Campaign and talks for Huffington Post, Cannes, Dubai Lynx, BFI and Channel 4.
