Haian Nayouf

Haian Nayouf is a highly skilled bilingual (English and Arabic) media and communications practitioner, with over two decades of experience in the Middle East. Throughout his career, Haian has held key positions in several leading PR agencies and prestigious organizations. Notably, he served as the head of the UK Government Arabic Media and Communications Hub in the MENA region from 2011 to 2019, based in the UAE. Additionally, he was the UK Government Arabic deputy spokesperson for two years.

His journalism career is equally impressive, encompassing newspapers, radio, and television. He spent five years as a senior journalist and news producer at renowned pan-Arab media outlets such as Al Arabiya TV.

Haian has advised ambassadors, senior officials, and ministers in London and the MENA region. He has also provided media and communication training to ministers, diplomats, and CEOs in the MENA region.

Haian’s achievements have been recognized with two awards from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office: “Best Media Moment of the Year” and “Best Website.”

An entrepreneur at heart, Haian launched a UAE-based messaging app, acclaimed as the most private in the world. He recently launched the first video podcast, “Media Moment,” focusing on the PR and communications industry in the Gulf region.
