Alin Zainescu

With over 25 years of experience in the dynamic world of digital marketing, Gabriel is a leader and an influential figure in the industry. His career began in 1995 as a journalist, before transitioning to a role as a political consultant. In 1998, Gabriel joined Ogilvy Public Relations, where he contributed to campaigns in Bucharest and Chisinau, shaping the public relations landscape in the region. 

Gabriel is a pioneer in the digital marketing space in Romania. He played a crucial role in educating future marketers, teaching one of the first digital marketing courses at a Romanian university. In 2002, he founded New Media Agency, which rapidly grew under his leadership to become the largest digital agency in Romania. His entrepreneurial spirit led to the sale of the agency to ‘the group’ in 2008. 

A true innovator, Gabriel created Romania’s first online press release distribution platform, ComunicatedePresa.ro (PressReleases.ro), revolutionizing the way information was disseminated in the digital age. 

Since 2009, Gabriel has led Zainescu Consulting in the Greater New York City Area, where he has launched over 10 successful startups and advised numerous clients on creating strategic value in the digital realm. 

In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Gabriel is a dedicated mentor at the Founder Institute, where he has been guiding startups since 2020, offering strategic advice to foster growth and success. 

Most recently, Gabriel co-founded Goldfinch Cafe in Bernardsville, New Jersey, in 2023, where he enjoys combining his love for coffee with business. 

Gabriel currently resides in Bernardsville, New Jersey, with his beloved dogs, a cat, and his most amazing daughter.
