Senior Advisor Strategic Communication, Institutional Relations & Crisis Communication
Aurelian Horja is a senior advisor in strategic communication, reputation, and public affairs, with more than two decades of experience in crisis communication, advocacy, lobbying, institutional communication, national social campaigns, and reputation-sensitive mandates.
He advises organizations, institutions, and executive leaders navigating sensitive public contexts, including image crises, advocacy initiatives, social campaigns, stakeholder pressure, values-driven communication, public affairs mandates, and complex institutional relationships.
His work combines strategic analysis, institutional diplomacy, narrative architecture, and creative judgment, helping organizations communicate with clarity, credibility, and responsibility when reputation, legitimacy, and public trust are at stake.
Together with Liviu Mihăileanu, he co-authored Reglementarea activității de lobby. În anticamera influenței (C.H. Beck)—the first Romanian reference book dedicated to lobbying regulation, public affairs, and the role of lobbying in democratic decision-making.
Alongside Dr. Dana Oancea and Liviu Mihăileanu, he also contributed to the most extensive lobbying research project conducted in Romania, Lobbying in Romania, published in 2012 by the Forum for International Communications in cooperation with GfK.
