IPRA President

Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah is a distinguished strategic communications consultant, communication coach and Organisation Development Practitioner, with over four decades of professional experience. 

She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Communications Africa Limited (Stratcomm Africa), Ghanas premier total Marketing Communications and reputation management firm, well respected in Africa and beyond. 

Ms. Cobbah currently serves as President of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and also President of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana (IPR). As the first Ghanaian and one of the few Africans to lead IPRA in its over seventy-year history, she stands as a visible example of African women shaping global conversations. 

Ms. Cobbah is an alumna of the University of Ghana, Legon and Cornell University Ithaca New York, USA, with Post Graduate Degrees in Communication. She is also a Gestalt- trained Organisation Development practitioner, she combines strong academic credentials and decades of practical experience as a leader across communications, advocacy and national development. 

Ms. Cobbah is a well-respected professional and entrepreneur whose work continues to be acknowledged locally and internationally, including with prestigious awards in both contexts.
