Lavinia Chican

With nearly 25 years of experience in strategic communication, public relations, and event management, Lavinia Chican has worked across a wide range of industries – from FMCG and energy to healthcare, technology, retail, and sports. She has led PR for renowned athlete such as Simona Halep, and currently manages communications for Olympic champion David Popovici and tennis professional player Horia Tecău.

Beyond her professional work, Lavinia is passionate about making art more accessible. She actively supports emerging artists in Romania and Moldova, building platforms that help them grow, connect, and be seen.

In 2023, she completed Harvard Business School Online programs in Power and Influence for Positive Impact and Negotiation Mastery.

She is the co-founder of NewTech Academy (focused on upskilling tech talent) and currently leads Green Communication – an agency centered on sustainability, leadership, and global impact.
